Lori worked for the Oklahoma Restaurant Association for 20 years managing their annual food show. She lived in Oklahoma City for more than 20 years and moved to Tulsa in late 2008.

An avid reader from a very young age, she loves picking up a good book and finding a good story with believable characters. Although mysteries are her favorite, she enjoys general fiction and romance as well.

Her dream of owning a used book store has finally come to pass. She looks forward to meeting new customers and making new friends.

Mark has lived in Tulsa for 22 years and has worked for several store fixture and custom cabinet shops as a CAD draftsman and project manager since 1990. Born and raised in Minnesota, Mark moved to Tulsa in 1987 after living in Houston for nine years.

He had always been a casual reader, but started reading more after traveling to Russia to adopt his daughter. He loves mysteries and action/adventure novels, but likes to pick up an occasional non-fiction book (tried a romance but couldn't get past page 6). He had never thought of owning a book store, but looks forward to the challenge. He wants to make all of our customers feel that they are special.

Martha started working at Book Rack (Book Alley) in 1987. She has enjoyed being involved with the business and working with the customers . She believes that you should go out of your way to make sure the customer is happy with their book picks. Making suggestions and leading people to a new author give her much pleasure. Many of the customers she has met over the years have become good friends and is happy that she is still involved with the book store.

Martha will continue working on Monday and Tuesday and looks forward to seeing long-time customers as well as meeting new ones.

Jared joined our staff in April 2010. He has a passion for books that is apparent when you talk to him. Currently, Jared is going to college in pursuit of a degree in history. He enjoys science fiction, mysteries, historic fiction and many other types of books.

Come by the store on Tuesday morning and anytime on Friday to meet Jared.
